Rihanna, singer Kelly Rowland and NBA star Paul Pierce are helping get the word out to help a 6-year-old New York City girl Jasmina Anema who has a rare and deadly form of leukemia. The organized help campaign is called One For Jasmina.
Jasmina Anema’s best chances for beating the disease is a bone-marrow transplant. Jasmina is adopted so the option of family members as donors is not there. People can help to spread the world with One For Jasmina campaign.
This Saturday a bone marrow drive is being held for Jasmina in hopes of finding a match.
Jasmina’s mother, Theodora Anema, is hoping thousands of people show up.
The One for Jasmina Web site (oneforjasmina.com) has information about the donor drive, as well as how to become a donor by requesting a simple kit.
