Rihanna´s new single “Disturbia” just gave the her a third No. 1 hit from Good Girl Gone Bad and ended Katy Perry’s seven-week chart-topping streak for “I Kissed a Girl.”

Perry was the first female artist to hold the top spot for seven straight weeks since, ironically, Rihanna did it last summer with “Umbrella.”

“Disturbia” made the two-spot jump to No. 1 after selling a week-best 148,000 digital downloads. Impressively, her previous chart-topper “Take a Bow” remains atop the Hot 100 Airplay chart, making this one of the rare times in which an artist simultaneously dominates the regular Hot 100 and the Hot 100 Airplay chart with different songs.

Good Girl Gone Bad originally scored just one chart-topper with “Umbrella,” but Rihanna released a Reloaded version last June that contained the new hits “Take a Bow” and “Disturbia.” As happens with bonus tracks on deluxe editions, fans often buy the individual tracks instead of the new version and this helps drive an artist’s digital track sales.

Overall, Rihanna has scored four No. 1 hits, originally with “SOS” in 2006. This ties her with Beyoncé and Mariah Carey for the decade’s most chart-toppers by a female artist.

The two arrived on the island on Sunday. On Tuesday photographers captured them soaking up sun, jet-ski-ing and just having an all around blast together.

The two are yet to publicly acknowledge a relationship.

They still haven’t confessed up to being romantically involved, but Rihanna and Chris Brown are offering up every indication that love is certainly in the air.

They headed off for a short vacation in Rihanna’s homeland of Barbados following a stay in Los Angeles during the Teen Choice Awards.

The duo were spotted side-by-side at the island’s airport on Sunday (August 10), ready to fly back home for the upcoming work week.

Rihanna and Chris have been romantically linked for months now, but both have continually denied they are a couple - despite being spotted kissing and cuddling on multiple occasions, most recently in a hot tub at their shared Los Angeles hotel last week.

Are Rihanna and Chris Brown engaged to be married?

Because that’s the message that’s being given off by her massive diamond ring which she’s proudly been displaying on her wedding finger.

Despite the pair both denying they are an item, Rihanna has been romantically linked to Chris Brown for months and have been snapped in public kissing and cuddling.

The pair stepped up speculation about their relationship last week when they were snapped frolicking in a hot tub together in Los Angeles.

And now Rihanna has fuelled rumours that they are to walk down the aisle after she was snapped sporting a ring on her left hand.

So, will they be husband and wife soon?

Rihanna and Chris looked to be enjoying each other’s company as they strolled down Melrose Boulevard while nearby fans took cell phone pictures of them. And like a gentleman, Brown handled carrying the dog as well as their shopping bag.

Rihanna has revealed that her father was addicted to crack cocaine when she was younger.

Although he’s now recovered, she says she saw first-hand the damage drugs wreck. She was left to help raise her 2 younger brothers.

‘I was always mature for my years because of the parental part of it,’ she says.

Rihanna says it means she’ll never be tempted to go off the rails.

‘I’ve seen up close what effect those things can have. I would never want to put myself in that situation,’ she tells The Guardian.

‘It would be very careless and just not smart at all.’

Rihanna leaves her downtown Manhattan hotel and gets a manicure and pedicure at the 8th Street Dashing Diva nail salon on Thursday night.

She rocked out a purple tie-dye scarf, matching slippers and of course, toe separators!

Enjoying a night out in the Big Apple, Rihanna was spotted out sans Chris Brown - dining out at her favorite spot before hitting up a party on Wednesday (July 30).

To kick the evening off, she enjoyed a meal at Da Silvana restaurant in the West Village, dressed casually in jeans with a white sleeveless top/scarf combo.

After heading back and changing clothes, she headed back out on the town - turning heads in a Herve Leger bandage dress in black, pink and silver.

Not long from now, Rihanna is scheduled to perform at the 4th Annual Fashion Rocks benefit at New York’s Radio City Music Hall (September 5). She also finds herself nominated for Best Female Video as part of the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, airing live from Paramount Studios in Hollywood on September 7.
